Friends and Fellow Artists
Roberto Carrasco - If you've listened to "Breakfast Translations" you have heard Roberto Carrasco. He brings you the rhythmic battery in the break of "In Every Direction", the high harmony of "Amor y Frijoles" and the operatic ending of the album, as well as a few other backup vocals. He is extensively trained in classical singing, and can wail out an aria with more intensity than Chewbacca. Ask him to show you his Vibrato Wars sometime.
Roxane Carrasco - Bill's twin sister and an amazing performer in her own right, Roxane has a curriculum vitae full of dance and vocal credits in many levels of musical theatre. Her most recent of these being the birth of her son, and Bill's nephew, Lucas. Her second most recent was her successful stint on Broadway's hit revival "Chicago". She also performs on "Breakfast Translations" with Agua Trip.
Union Street Sound - If you are interested in any sort of audio related project, and you are located near Vermont, then Union Street Sound will be right up your valley. This is a real comfortable place to record and stretch out your musical muscles a bit. This is where Agua Trip completely produced "Baseado" and mixed and mastered "Breakfast Translations". The studio is run by Lindsey's father Mike Boise, is in Brandon Vermont and does audio recording, remastering, restoration, mixing, sequencing, and all the good stuff. And he does it well.
Jackson Martin - He is a sculptor, photographer, carpenter, cultivator, fashion designer and one of Lindsey's long-time friends. He designed the circular Agua Trip logo as well.
The Moveable Feast - An party of artistic invention and creation, the Moveable Feasts feature dance, music, visual art, film and projections, photography, literature and anything else available. All this is mixed up in collaborative efforts and thrown into a festive party setting. Positive, fun and very interesting.
Tones from the Underground - Tones from the Underground is a musical conspiracy from New York City that we met at one of the Stomp charity events. We've since come to thorougly enjoy their music and company. They are one of the main musical acts in the Moveable Feast. They are always searching for new tones and are always changing their sound and aesthetic. This link is for their Myspace site.
Jacob Gossett - One of the founding members of Tones from the Underground, Jacob Gossett is not only a musician, but a well-respected visual artist. He specializes in large-scale portraits, but creates much more. Go to his site to see for yourself. To really get this guy though, you need to watch him work in his studio.
Ajewelation - Custom jewelry, made by one of the most intuitively brilliant jewelry designers, Lindsey's mom, Margaret. The designs are mostly earrings, made with brilliant colors and really funky wire-work. Based in Vermont, Ajewelation makes jewelry that feels both rustic and progressively modern at the same time.
Chip Boles - While Agua Trip was forming inside the small artistic community of Clarksville, TN , Chip was a ubiquitous presence. His sculptures, paintings, illustrations, murals and curative work were powerful and impressive. His works even better now.
More sites will be added and subtracted continually, (enter eerie cellos and drum roll) as Agua Trip seeps ever deeper into the world wide web.
