A really rainy night. This was a very calm and relaxing, enjoyable night. This was our last night at Pangea before absorbing ourselves into recording the new album.

This night was full of surprises. Not only did Morgan bring out a bunch of his pals, but we had numerous old friends drop in unexpectedly. Michele G came by with a whole horde of conspirators, Ryan Aynez dropped in for a bit between movie-making meetings and THE Professor Rockwell came by with a really cool friend. It was a great time.

This is one of the first shows for which we have pictures of Morgan playing percussion with us, even though he played with us in both October and November. A lot of his friends came out this night, as well as many of our pals. The main thing I (Lindsey) remember is the Christmas lights behind us. They were throwing off an eerie light, and I felt like I was swimming in it.

It was exciting to perform solo at Pangea for the first time. It was particularly interesting to see Lindsey in the crowd instead of next to me. I performed a variety of covers, including one of Lindsey’s new songs “Sleep trips and falls”. I also snuck in some of the songs that will appear on Agua Trips next Album. Although it was a fun to perform alone for a change, I look forward to having Lindsey and Mark share the stage with me next month.

The Bill-Lindsey-Mark trio combo just keeps getting better! It’s been exactly 6 months since our first show together (Sept. 06), and you can feel the difference! The night couldn’t have been more perfect either – that is, for a March in New New York. As usual, we were really glad to see our friends & fans and all the new faces who stayed to listen to the music. it’s always nice to be the background music for someone’s birthday party too (whoever that was). Happy birthday.

The night was yet another was glorious contribution to the beautiful saga of Agua Trip at Pangea. When all is said and done, these will be the sweetest of memories and we will dance joyfully in the fields of our mental taste buds. Although these shows may blur together in our future recollections, our hearts will be forever warmed and lightened by the delicate footprints they have left oh so so gently on our musical souls. This IS the essence of our existence, henceforth and hithertofore, notwithstanding nor withsitting May all the flowers of Spring bend their petals in loving admiration of songs gone by and in sweet anticipation of music yet to come! Praise to Zeus and Poseidon!

Man, thanks to all who came out. I can’t believe we had anyone, the weather was horribly wet and cold, very cold. I was very anxious about this one because we decided to stand up, and everyone who’s been to Pangea knows that our “stage” is very small and cramped. It was interesting maneuvering up there, but it was really fun to get to stand up again. It might seem trivial to some, but it feels so much better physically and spiritual for me when I stand. The energy in our cramped corner was great. We added songs to our repertoire with Mark, and “Slave”, “No Point of View” and “Little Life” sounded really good from the stage. Well, I hope everyone had as great a time as we did. As always, send us any good pics you have of this show.

This was a refreshing way to start 2007. All sorts of old friends and cohorts came out to play. Friend after friend piled in, so before we even started our pre-show rev-up playlist, we were all on cloud nine. Six people won prizes of various sorts, Agua Trip gave out instruments of the rhythmic genus and throughout the second set the room was sending us their accompaniment. Michele keeps winning stuff, everytime, and we swear we aren’t rigging the elections. Bill’s brother, Roberto, celebrated his birthday and he sang “Get Over It” with us. Ginger Burden joined us in singing “Sleep trips and falls”, which made my night. To everyone who was newly met, it was a pleasure making your acquaintance and we can’t wait to see you again.

This show was exciting because, for the most part, we had a new crowd. The weather was horrible; cold, rainy and super-windy, and a lot of our regular friends were hibernating and recuperating from their various illnesses. The crowd that took up residence in Pangea that night were really dedicated Agua Trippers and local night-owls, and they were great fun. We tried out several new things, played three new cover songs and just let the weather take us with it. It all worked out great. We played well, had people up and dancing throughout the restaurant, and met many interesting and talented people. Michele even won a nice bottle of sparkling wine and shared the love, creating a sort of glow around the room, so to speak.

We were happy to start our new run at Pangea. We have a history and a good rapport with everyone there, we are happy with the sound of the room, and we love their food. So it is always a blast playing there. Many friends came out. Marek unveiled the “Agua Drop”, a new drink that is wickedly strong and has an exotic aftertaste. We also gave away CDs and shirts and Pangea gave away champagne, liquor and gift certificates. This was a great start to an exciting season.
