The Isabel Gotzkowsky and Friends benefit has become an annual celebration for us. This was the third time we’ve played during the festivities, which include a silent auction, previews of upcoming dance pieces and much good cheer. We also got to enjoy the music of The Basso Moderno Duo, who performed live during some of the dances and also performed during some of the breaks. This year we found ourselves in this beautiful gallery filled with works of glass; some cast, others blown, and some just collections of found glass arranged in an interesting way. At first, we were nervous that the frequencies from our speakers were going to shatter everything around us. Hahaha. Imagine that! If the total value of the works weren’t in the millions, it would actually be fun to have it all shatter around us.
