Fresh Start: July 12, 2008 AD

Fresh Start is a health food store and organic market in Astoria. We had just seen Tones from the Underground perform outdoors during the Make Music New York Festival, and we really wanted to do an outdoor show before the summer was over (those in New York know how swiftly the summers disappear). Fresh Start had recently opened up an outdoor area, so we decided to give them a try. We had a lot of fun goofing off with everyone in the breeze, with a group of cute kids yelling at us from a nearby rooftop. Jacob Gossett was there filming some stuff for a video he was making for our song Little Life. You can go watch the video if you’d like, it’s on our video page. He did a good job. Everyone at Fresh Start was great and were really inviting to us and our friends.
